BRENT COBB UNVEILS A NEW EPISODE OF “THE FIRESIDE SESSIONS” MUSIC VIDEO SERIES ON COUNTRY MUSIC IS LOVE

on 02.21.13.

Screen Shot 2013-02-21 at 12.22.47 PMBrent Cobb is heating up the country music scene with the exclusive online debut of his third installment in “The Fireside Sessions,” a unique live music video series that launched in December 2012. The new video features an acoustic live rendition of, “Forever Afterall,” co-written by Brent and Jason Saenz. The Ellaville, Georgia native’s perfect campfire song is brought to life on Country Music Is Love today, Thursday (2/21).

“I was first inspired to write this song about Providence canyon, a canyon a few counties over from my hometown in GA where my friends and I used to hang out,” shares Brent. “But, it struck me that the word ‘providence’ also means the protective care of God or nature as a spiritual power. So the line, ‘the night won't last forever afterall …’ means to me that although in life we sometimes get lost and forget our roots we won't be wandering around in the dark forever. There is a light at the end of the tunnel.”

Working with Director Reid Long, Brent filmed “The Fireside Sessions” at dusk around a roaring campfire on a farm just outside of Nashville, TN, to capture the Georgia pickin’ parties that earmarked his upbringing. The monthly video series showcases Brent’s gripping, passionate vocals, rhythmic melodies and laid-back personality.
